Cleaning and Storing Your Pearls
Wipe your pearls after wearing with a soft cloth (dry or damp) to avoid dirt from accumulating and perspiration from eating away the pearl nacre.
Use a drop of olive oil on the cloth to help maintain the pearl’s luster.
After washing your pearls, lay them flat on a moist towel to dry.
Store pearls in their individual jewellery pouch/silk bag/velvet-lined box/pearl folder to avoid contact with other gems.
